MemberHello all,
I just released Blox Lite - Content Blox for Genesis. It is basically Genesis Simple Hooks on steroids if you have used that plugin at all. The plugin is freely available in the WordPress.org repository (https://wordpress.org/plugins/blox-lite/). Enjoy!

MemberI tried to install it on Enterprise Pro and got the following:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /kunden/177427_63674/rp-hosting/16/16/zukzg/wp-content/plugins/blox-lite/includes/global/common.php on line 260
Any idea?
Thanks hampi52

MemberHi hampi52, can you tell me what version of PHP you are running? I am guessing something less than 5.3. Can you confirm?
Thanks,

MemberHello again hampi52. This is an issue with versions of PHP below 5.3. PHP less than 5.4 is technically unsupported: http://php.net/eol.php. But no worries, I have rewritten this function to work with PHP 5.2. I will push a new version later today. I apologize for the trouble, and thanks for "trying" out the plugin!
P.S. - I would recommend upgrading to PHP 5.4 or greater though 😉 Any decent hosting provider should not be running 5.2, and if you were testing this is a local environment, you can download new versions of PHP here: http://php.net/downloads.php.
Best,

MemberHello Nick
You're right - 5.2.17.
I have to ask my provider how to change the PHP-Version. I am not familiar with that stuff ;-))
Kindly

MemberJust a followup hampi52, I just pushed v1.0.3 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/blox-lite/). It will work no problem with PHP 5.2. Thanks for pointing this out!

MemberNow works great. But can't what I need: An image as title-background and over it the side-title (image-header) or a logo.
Seems that I have to find a additional sollution for that but I'm not a CSS-Programmer.Anyway: Thanks a lot.

MemberHi Nick
I installed your PlugIn Genesis Featured Page Advanced.
Now my question: I use images, which are not in one of the Theme-Featured-Sizes or in one of the WordPress-Custom-Sizes, e.g. 300 x300 or 200 x 200.How can I define "my" sizes in the widget?
I tried another thing: I built in the image in a page and marked it in the widget. But the image wouldn't be presented like in the side - the widget makes it 400 x400 (WordPress-Size). I choose onli site and content and did not specifiy an image in the widget.
You 'll see what I mean on http://www.zukzsg.ch
Thanks for your advice and kind regards.

MemberHi Hanspeter,
Unfortunately, you cannot specify your own sizes in the plugin. The best course of action would be to use the "Full" option and then use CSS to style the image to the size you want it.
The link you provided doesn't seem to work, otherwise I could give you more direction. Also, if you can, please add any further questions as support tickets on the individual plugins. Other people might have similar questions and it is easier for me to answer everything in one place.
Thanks!

MemberHi Diego
Sorry - there was a mistake. Correctli ist
http://zukzg.chisana.ch/
I made a site, included the picture. Then I put the site in the plugin and marked "show content". I did not mark "show image" because the image is included in the site-content. There i defined the image 200x200 and if I use the site stand-alone, it works. But if I use the plugin and put the site in it, the image will be 400x440 (a defined size from WP).
So I think that it must be possible, that the plugin shows the site how it is...Thanks and kind regards.
