    I am upgrading my website with the Beautiful Pro theme. I used the Genesis Simple Hooks program to place my header. I want just blog summaries on my home page and not the entire blog posts. I put the Genesis Featured posts widget in the after entry slot but I still have a whole page of complete posts. What an I doing wrong? I also have a huge white space between my menu and my welcome message. Thanks for any help. I am a complete newbie when it comes to this stuff, but I am learning.

    You can set your homepage to show excerpts by editing the blog page template section under Genesis > Theme Settings.
