I have three sites using Genesis and they are all down, and the Admin is down as well. However, my fourth site which is using a default wordpress Twenty Seventeen is up.

    I get the message ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    Is Genesis still supported?

    I am using wordpress 6.1.1

The child theme is Agency 2.0

One of the websites that isn't working is marinhomephotography dot com

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Switch themes to Twenty Twenty Three and see if that makes any difference.

Hi there, Brad, and thanks for the note.

I might have to switch themes via phpmyadmin because right now I can't get in to the admin of my wordpress sites either.

If you (or anyone else) has an idea on how to switch themes via the database / phpmyadmin without totally borking the site, that would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

By the way, it looks like the version of Genesis that I am using is 2.10.1

At least, that is what it says in the style.css file of the /genesis/ folder

And I did try changing the template and stylesheet option in the database to twentyfifteen (the most recent default wordpress template that is installed) but that didn't work.

Delete the Genesis folder and upload the latest version. Also make sure you're using the latest version of WordPress.

I doubt the problem is with your SP child theme.

Hi everyone, yesterday I went to a skin lightening session. I want to tell you that it is simply unbelievable the feeling in front of the mirror that you seem to have rejuvenated for several years. i recommend everyone to at least try it. I did it in my friend's salon, you can visit.

Well, I did replace the genesis folder in the wp-content/themes folder and that unfortunately didn't fix it either.

I really don't know what to do from here, and Bluehost tech support is pretty useless.

I guess at this point I have to think about rebuilding my sites.

So is the best move exporting SQL data and then reimporting it via Myphp?

I guess my main concern is whether it will be easy to relink the photos used in the posts and pages.

It maybe a plugin or custom code you added in your child theme or .htaccess file. I wouldn't change anything in your DB but i would export a copy just in case. Do you have access to your WordPress Dashboard?

Have you tried renaming your plugins folder and changing child themes? It sounds like its a problem with code added to your child theme. You could make a backup and then delete it so WordPress uses the default theme.
