Move menu in header right in Latest Genesis Sample Theme to above the header

I would like to reposition the menu that is currently in the header right to be above the header?

Hi eno,

You'll need to edit the functions.php & style.css to move the menu. If you're comfortable editing files in your theme...

functions.php. On or around line 225 replace the following

// Repositions primary navigation menu.
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
add_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_nav', 12 );

with

// Repositions primary navigation menu.
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
add_action( 'genesis_before_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );

and then in the media query in the style.css (on or around line 1443) remove/restyle the header positioning/style on desktop views.

1443	.site-header {
1444			position: fixed;
1445			width: 100%;
1446			z-index: 9999;
1447		}
