    Hi,

I am trying to modify the category page template and the tag page template in the executive theme. Can you tell me where I can find the basic executive category.php and tag.php templates code? Then I can add my customizations from there.

    Thanks!

The archive.php file is in genesis/lib/structure. All customization should be done in the child theme.

When I copy the archive.php file over into a new file, category.php in the child theme, I get an error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare genesis_do_taxonomy_title_description() (previously declared in...

    Do you know why?

    Thanks for your help

Yes because its using the same function. genesis_do_taxonomy_title_description

You cannot have 2 functions with the same name.

What exactly do you want to do Jenni?

I'm trying to add some code above the category blog posts in these two hooks:

    genesis_before_content
    genesis_before_loop

    Thanks
