    Hi there,
I am looking for help as I have just started using the Modern Studio Pro theme for my travel blog.
For the slider, how do i eliminate a white space from appearing under the image?
I have no experience in this area so if anyone could help in basic language!

    Thanks for your help,
    Fabio

Best to learn how to use a browser tool like Google Inspector, Firebug or Mac's Web Inspector.

    1. Then you can inspect the element
    2. Find the CSS rules which style the element
    3. Change the CSS in your browser to test the modifications
    4. And then make the permanent changes in your child themes style sheet.

When you say you want to "eliminate a white space from appearing under the image [in the slider]...what white space are you talking about? What I see there right now looks totally OK to me.

    Hi everyone
At the moment with the pictures I'm using there is no problem. But If I use pictures of other posts I have in the blog it happens in the 70% of gthe cases that there is a white space between the picture and the lower border of the image slider box.
Any idea whiy is this happening?

Since we can't see the problem it's hard to guess what's going on.

If you compare the image dimensions of the pictures that work to the image dimensions of the pictures that don't work is there a difference?

If you are using the Genesis Responsive Slider, then check the maximum image width and height in the slider settings

Dashboard > Genesis > Slider Settings > Display Settings

The featured image associated with the post(s) that are being shown in the slider must be at least these dimensions

If they are less, then a gap will appear in the slider

Also, make sure that once you have set the image sizes for the slider, that you run the regenerate thumbnails plugin.
