    Hello!

I'm deciding between the Modern Portfolio child theme or Minimum Pro. To be honest, they look pretty similar.

From what I can tell the Modern Portfolio theme is newer than Minimum. Are there any major differences in features that I should be aware of? I'm not a designer but I'm looking forward to learning. I just want to make sure I pick the right theme for my blog. I love the look of both.

The main difference I see is the second menu on the blog page of the Modern Portfolio Theme. I'm leaning towards Modern Portfolio. Any good reasons to stick with minimum pro?

I used to really love Minimum. It was my favorite theme for a photography blog because of the large image on the home page. No longer the case, though. They changed the theme with Minimum Pro to use backstretch, which means you can't determine how your photo will display. It's maddening for any artist.

Other than that one gripe, I really enjoyed Minimum Pro. I'd go back if they ever fix that "improvement."

Thanks for the input William. It looks like you went back to eleven forty?

My blog is not photography based but I just like the simple clean designs of Minimum Pro and Modern Portfolio. The landing page will actually be the blog page.
