Mobile Menu working on Desktop Only

Somewhat perplexed. Clean install of theme Sixteen-nine. Disabled any unnecessary plugins. The Menu is collapsing to the hamburger fine on desktop. However looking at it via phone(s) the full menu is displayed.

The site url is http://stage.jasdrummer.com/

Genesis Version is up to date Version: 2.1.3

Any insight would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi there,

Did you use a Custom Menu widget in your Header Right widget area? That might be the only difference I can see between your site and the demo. I verified the CSS is identical.

Hi Ginger,

Thank you for the reply. I do have a simple text widget in the Header Right area but other then that I just have the Custom Menu and Simple Social Icons widgets as laid out in the template setup directions.

However, curiosity got me and I removed any widget not the Custom Menu but the issue persists. I am truly perplexed honestly. Thank you for verifying the CSS. I did a look as well thinking something in the Media query Breaks were not right but found nothing.

Hi Jeffrey,

An ah-ha moment, when CSS isn't the culprit I forget to check the console.....right+click on your browser and show Inspect Element or any dev tools you have access to. In the console area in Chrome I see a list of errors and not being able to load jquery and the responsive menu is one of them. I would make sure you have all of your theme files in place for both Sixteen Nine and Genesis.
