Hello, I have been trying for weeks now to solve this and reading tons of articles and posts. I really hope You can help me out.
Buttomline is i want the same blog page layout as You have ! Link: http://www.studiopress.com/blog/ with the cool primary sidebar on the right and the widgets.

I bought the NewPro Genesis child theme on top of Genesis Framework.
My problem is on the Blog page Template settings disapear, and i can not use Page Widgets. Nothing sticks to my Blog page.
However, if i set a general sidebar widget it works - ALSO on the blog page. But some widgets i want only on the blog page.

Why doesn't page specific widgets stick to my my Blog page? And how can i help it?
Also, why does the Template settings disapear on my blog page? And how can i help it? My 2nd issue seems very much to be linked to my 1st issue.

    Please help

    Check out Genesis Simple Sidebars:

    Genesis Simple Sidebars

Use the default primary sidebar for blog widgets, then choose a custom sidebar for your pages.
