    Minimum theme - how to have the logo on the left and the navigation on the right?

    Not even going to talk about the wp3.5 pain that requires your logos to be cropped. What happened to the skip cropping thing?

    Anyway, I have added a logo at 1140 width which then didn't need cropping. It goes in the row above my navigation. I want the navigation to sit next to the logo on the right. I added the custom menu to my header right widget.

    Any ideas please?

    A logo at 1140 would not leave any room for a navigation next to it. Your logo at 350px wide will leave 790px to play with for your nav.

    It is a bit confusing that the code in the functions.php disables the option in the theme settings to choose between logo image or text logo

    Find the code below in your functions.php and change it into comment or remove it altogether, that will bring the option back.

    /** Add support for custom header */
    add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array(
    	'width' => 1140,
    	'height' => 100
    ) );

    Go to genesis theme options and choose "image log" and with the help of the description in this link you should be able to get the result you want.

    Thanks for that. In the minimum theme, if you remove that bit of code, it removes any the header option from even showing up in the menus.

    After playing around with this for a while, I just changed the 1140 to 250 and it seemed to have worked.

    Thanks anyway.

    Following on from this, I find that if I alter the dimensions in functions.php, the image is aligned center. Secondly, if I comment out the lines specifying dimensions, I get a error, "you do not have permissions..." when trying to enter the header page in admin.

    Correction to my previous comment about the header being fixed, it's not. It is still floating above the right navigation menu.

    Any other ideas anyone?

    Maybe it helps if you post a link to your site... now its helping "blindfolded" 🙂

    Hi I ave the theme "Agency" and I followed "And or" recipe above. The logo area is not as wide as before however the menu is still under the logo.. when I look at:

    http://demo.studiopress.com/agency/

    the menu is next to the logo.

    On my site I can see: div wrap 960 x 31 whish is the height of the menulinks

    On the demo site I see: div wrap 960 x 0 so, the menu is not placed in that div tag. How do I change that?

    Thanks!
