hi all,
slowly but surely im figuring some things out with genesis and minimum pro! it would seem that i should have purchased the modern portfolio theme but instead i purchased minimum. oh well.
i've been able to modify a lot so far with minimum pro and am now hoping to change the layout on the portfolio page itself. i thought i would have the ability to change the layout of this page however it would seem as though it is programmed to center all of the content. i would an image of the left 2/3, with text on the remaining 1/3.
what would i need to do to get there?

You could however, modify the code to display 66% on the left and 33% on the right for featured images.
To make the right area text is something that would need a fair amount of modification.
Seems you're using a template which isn't native to that theme so i suggest you may consult the author of the template or use an entirely different solution.

is that what you were referring to?
before i switched to genesis and bought minimum pro, i was under the impression that these pages were really flexible in terms of layout. that i could even switch between layouts on a per page basis, yet i dont have that option when i make a new portfolio post. can you tell me what i'm missing?
thanks for your time, emily

February 6, 2014 at 2:30 pm #88995design_agencyMemberthanks for the hint braddalton. i tried some of the different layouts however im still not sure how to use the sidebars most effectively... i like the one for the blog, but i dont want that to appear on my portfolio pages (i'm still trying to understand how to use those sidebars properly).
that said, i was able to acheive the effect that im after by using columns, and im just curious to know if this is a bad way to do this? i've tested it in as many ways as i can but that's fairly limited to apple products, safari and chrome.
again, thanks so much for your time,
