    Hi,

I set up my site to use page names in the BAR, instead of the SITE TAGLINE on every page.

Then I added a PORTFOLIO to my site, and the PORTFOLIO uses the SITE TAGLINE. I’m pretty sure the problem is that the PORTFOLIO page is named something different from the PAGE template.

Here’s the portfolio page on the site I’m working on….

    Thanks so much,
    Melissa

I'll need to know what code you used to display your page titles in the tagline?

    Melissa:

Without knowing what code you used to change your functionality to display a page name instead of the site tagline on each of your pages, I cannot give you a definitive answer, but if you changed something in your functions.php file or front-page.php file to accomplish this, you might be able to ahieve the same thing with the portfolio page, by adding similar code to your archive-portfolio.php.

If you can share what code you added to your site, I would be happy to test it on my demo site.
