    Does anyone know if there is a way to put a next link in individual portfolio posts? It would be nice if once a client clicked on one of the portfolio posts, they didn't have to go back to the menu navigation to get to another portfolio entry

    At least 2 ways to do this.

    Tested this code and it works.

    Note: This code uses the old XHTML loop hooks.

    This snippet enables you to style your single post links:

    .previous-post-link {
    float: left;
    }

    .next-post-link {
    float: right;
    text-align: right;
    }

    Or you could use this:

    Note: This code uses the new Genesis 2.0 HTML 5 loop hooks

    Brad,

    I'm confident the solutions will work...but being a bit less experienced...where do I plug in the code?

    Thanks!

    Please copy the code from the view raw link for the second post snippet and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file.

    I will need to fix the first one as it doesn't work for custom post types at the moment.

    Brad,

    Thanks again for getting back to me on this. I've pasted the code in the functions.php file. No luck. I also added some styling to the CSS with zero luck.

    Any additional guidance would be great.

    Thanks!

    The last code snippet works because i use it on my site. But it can't be styled because i didn't add any class to it.

    Did you resave your permalinks?

    Also, what permalink structure are you using? Should be /%postname%/
