    Hello,

    I've created an image with decorative text & I need to adjust the image upwards as the screen size decreases so my text shows properly on smaller screens. How do I access that backstretch image to apply CSS to it?

    This is a volunteer project, so I don't want to put a lot of time into it.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    You could change the size of the font and reduce/remove padding and margins using CSS for media queries.

    Thanks, I've been trying. I've put as much time into as I'm going to, so it's just going to have to look bad on mobile. 🙂

    I got this to work. I hadn't heard of !important before. Maybe not an elegant solution, but it will work. This is just a temporary theme until they decide what they really want.

    /* Backstretch image
    --------------------------------------------- */

    .backstretch img {
        margin-top: -125px !important;
    }

    You have a nice solution on your site, with that text overlay widget. Maybe someday I'll get a budget. 😀
