I recently relaunched one of my sites with the Metro theme which has been a huge improvement both aesthetically and for usability.

A small tweak I'd like help with -

When posts are listed on the Category pages, they show the

    - Post Date and Post Author

    - Leave A Comment button

Is there a simple way using the functions file to switch these off  *just* on the category pages?  I obviously would like to keep them showing on the actual single.php pages

Here's an example of one of my category pages so you can see what I mean

    Thanks

    Chris

This is also a thing I want to know. Especially the Leave a comment button. I hope there is no image behind that I have to change. I need this button in german language.

I found out that you can use the Genesis simple edits plugin.

Post Date and Post Author and Filed Under data can be removed.

I'd like to know the solution you found for this? There are times when a big "Leave a Comment" button is just not necessary, especially in a sidebar where the user has not even read the full post yet..

Tried the plug in with Metro Pro, and the leave a comment button remains, what is the manual way to do this, or at least move the button to after a full post only, not in post meta?
