Currently Sep 28, 2016 if you go to the Metro Pro theme demo it shows a hamburger menu when in mobile's width. If this was an update why don't I see it on my site?
And if not how do I alter what I have, or if possible just shift the menu to the left when in mobile because secondary menu gets cut off in mobile widths.
There are no automatic updates for child themes.
If you want to include the mobile menu, you would have to download the latest version of Metro Pro and unzip it.
Upload the js folder with responsive-menu.js to your server.
Enqueue the js file in functions.php
and add the necessary css.
