One of my sites is requesting a member's only forum. Just curious if anyone has any recommendations on forum plugins?
I just started looking through bbPress which seems simple but requires a lot of additional plugins for customization.

This forum won't be high traffic. It will probably have a handful of topics. The only requirement will be the need to create a member login and password system for access.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

bbPress does require a few plugins but it's the absolute easiest for integrating into your existing site/theme and locking down registrations. None of the plugins are heavy on the front end so they won't affect load times.
