If you look at http://offtherecordduo.com/ you'll see we have an image at the top, that is not responsive. When I view this on a smaller monitor size or on a mobile device, the image doesn't dynamically shrink (as it does in the demo at http://demo.studiopress.com/magazine/.)

I'm curious if I did something wrong, but I simply uploaded a new image from Appearance > Customize > and then from the Header Image.

Can someone explain why it's not displaying as a responsive image and what I can do to accomplish this?

    Thanks,
    Gary

Because it's technically not responsive. What you see in the Title is "text" and not a logo image. The 468 x 60 ad image is located in the header right widget are and coded to be responsive.

So you need to use a plugin to get it to reduce down. You can try this plugin which seems to work for most people - http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header.

    Anitac,

Thanks. I tried this, but maybe it doesn't work with WP 3.6.

It says "After installing the plugin you will be able to find the “Responsive Header” menu under the Genesis menus item in your dashboard. This will bring up a simple settings screen." But after installing it, I don't see this.

    Any thoughts?
    Gary

Look under the Settings tab. See if it's been moved there.

    Anitac,

Didn't find it there either. I looked everywhere, but can't find it. 🙁

I emailed the developer of the theme and requested advice. I hope to hear back shortly.

    slempke,

I haven't heard back from the developer. Still waiting. When I get an answer, if the developer doesn't post it here, I'll be sure to do so.

    Here is an updated version:

Looks like to access the "Responsive Header" section you have to go to Appearance>Themes>Customize
