I have the magazine theme and have had it for a few years. Would it be easy to keep my site as it is if I upgrade to the magazine pro theme? Also with the magazine pro theme will the whole site be able to use https?

If you make a response private, nobody can see your response with the exception of the person starting the thread (which is you), and a moderator or administrator (me, for example). Also, if you reply to your own thread, it removes your thread form the list of unanswered posts, which is what we use to see who is still looking for an answer.

To answer your private response - to update site credits, either use the Simple Edits plugin, or one of these StudioPress code snippets:

I am getting an error message in my logs. I just recently installed magazine pro.
In my error logs I get this message below. Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks!

[autoindex:error] [pid 6043] [client 45.79.210.57:64512] AH01276: Cannot serve directory wp-includes/css/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html,index.cgi,index.pl,index.php,index.xhtml,index.htm) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive
