Well I am looking at the plugin - but I have no idea how to replace what is currently there:

    Copyright [footer_copyright] [footer_childtheme_link] · [footer_genesis_link] [footer_studiopress_link] · [footer_wordpress_link] · [footer_loginout]

With what is needed to have

Copyright (copyright sign) 2013 - (link to my website) - All rights reserved

    Could you help me?

    Thank you!!!

I also wanted to change the comments words underneath each post, and notice you can do that too in the plugin.  But again, I am a bit lost as to what I am supposed to change to get what I'd like:

"No comments" -> "Share your opinion"

"x comments" -> "x great opinions, add yours"

Since you are looking at the code, I'd thought it is better to ask it at the same time 🙂

OK - check the box "Modify Entire Footer text", and then put this code in the box (change the URL and add your site name):

    Copyright [footer_copyright] <a href="www.yourURLhere">Your website here</a> - All Rights Reserved

    That worked, thank you 🙂

Would you mind helping me with the comments changes? Or else point me in the direction as to how I can find out what to change?

As far as changing the comment structure, if you want to change the words, you'll probably need to change your functions.php, and I don't think you want to do that today 🙂 - you can make some changes, but it's mostly shortcuts - there's a full list in there.

Here's another thread about changing the comment:

I don't want to change the button to submit a comment, just the text displayed under the post title.

    Currently is had:

[Date] by [Author]  "no comments" or "x comments"

I would like that to be "Share your opinion" or "x opinions, add yours"

Not sure if I am explaining that correctly...

Laura - yeah, I know what you mean. I can look at the code for you in the morning (about to log off for the evening), or you can start another thread, and someone else may be in later this evening. By starting a new thread, you'll get some fresh eyes looking at it.

If you do start another thread, mention that you have simple edits (and include a URL to your site). Otherwise, I'll be back tomorrow.

See - I was about to log off, but now have to ask - where in Australia? I grew up in Melbourne, but lived all over (dad was in the Air Force.) I'll see your reply in the morning. Enjoy the rest of the day 🙂

Sydney.  But I lived in Melbourne from 2005 - 2011, so I am quite familiar with it.  I lived all over too - in fact, Australia is not my home country (I am Belgian).
