    What happens if you remove the js/css that adds and positions the date?

    Removing the class attribute "ab-block-post-grid-date" for one DATE on the "featured image" produces this.
    null

    I found no CSS using the class attribute "ab-block-post-grid-date" that is one on each DATE.

    I did find the .js file, called "move-entry-dates.js", but have no idea what to do with it. No knowledge of .js

    Inspect the element and you will see the CSS.

    .ab-block-post-grid-date {
        background-color: #008285;
        color: #ffffff;
    }

    .ab-block-post-grid-date {
        background-color: #008285;
        bottom: 24px;
        color: #fff;
        font-size: 14px;
        font-weight: 300;
        padding: 5px 10px;
        position: absolute;
        right: 0;
    }

    .ab-block-post-grid-date {
        display: inline-block;
    }

    However, i think you could remove the PHP code which loads the js file.
