    I have magazine pro theme and am trying to reduce the white space above and below my header and header widget. I changed the top a bit but can't figure out how to change the padding below the header, thanks

    Try line 445 of your style.css file:

    .site-inner {
        clear: both;
        padding-top: 4rem;
    }

    I would inspect the area with Firebug and change the values in real time using your browser to see which classes you need to modify in your style sheet.

    I was able to change it by changing this:

    .header-image .site-header .title-area,
    .header-image .site-header .widget-area {
    padding: 40px 0;

    to:

    .header-image .site-header .title-area,
    .header-image .site-header .widget-area {
    padding: 0px 0;
