    According to the directions at http://my.studiopress.com/docs/category-blog-page/ you can use custom fields to create a single category blog page.
    However, when I create the blog page and click Screen Options, nothing displays at all and there are no custom fields on the page. Any ideas how I can restrict the blog to one category with this theme? Thanks.

    Update: Must have been an outdated post. I just skipped over Step 2 to Step 3 and now it works.

    You can use the Genesis > Theme Settings > Blog Page Template > Display Category settings to display 1 category

    or

    You can use the WordPress Template Hierarchy to create a custom category page template
