I have a older site with a "lifestyle-child v 1.0", I want to update to a new responsive theme. I made all WordPress updates, plugin and Genesis Framework too.... now I have no Genesis settings in backend? the whole Genesis menu are gone:-(
I had to close down the site for now.

I tried to activate the Genesis Mother and an other Child Theme, but still the Genesis backend do not appear!
Any tips how to get my Genesis back?

    Best Regards,
    Jesper

    Jesper:

Go to Dashboard > Users > Edit User > User Permissions > Genesis Admin Menus > check the boxes to Enable Genesis Admin Menu

Hi Susan, I could not believe is was only such a simple setting:-)
How come it was turned off? it´s never happened on a update before...
but it´s not really important now when I know how to turn them back on again; thank you Susan.

I don't know how/why it was turned off, but I only knew the answer immediately because it's happened to me, too!

I'll go ahead and close this as resolved.
