I need to find a high quality plugin that allows users to input their thoughts and aggregates all of the answers at the end.
There will be a series of information that teaches the user what they need to know, then will ask them to explain how the information applies to their situation. Once all of this has been completed, I want them to be able to see all of their responses so that they can be reviewed at any time in the future. Every so often (every six months, for instance) they will need to go back and review their answers and add information that corresponds to how their situation has changed since the last time that they reviewed the information. It will actually be used on two sites, but they will both use this same basic idea (they will just cover slightly different topics). At first it will only be text-based, but eventually I will include videos to allow people to view the information in a different manner. They will still answer questions in the same way, though.
I am thinking about using Moodle since it's free (I don't have much money) and it will be useful for the teaching aspect. I also have a little bit of experience on the user side of Moodle (it is the student portal for LSU - the university from which I will be graduating in a few months! Go me! lol!).
I am not opposed to using other software. I honestly only picked Moodle because I know it's free.
Do you know if Moodle will do what I want? Do you have any recommendations on other software that will do this? Do you know of any companies that can produce this plugin for a cheap price (that will be around long enough to help when the plugin screws up)?
Answer to Question that I Think May Come Up Due to My Vague Description
1.) This will not be a forum. There will also be forums on the site, but this will be something completely different.
2.) This will not be a social network. That, too, will be on the site, but not on this aspect.
3.) There will be many, many questions that need to be answered (probably in the range of 50 or so on each site).
4.) If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for any help that you may be able to offer! I really appreciate it!
Mike
PS - I'm sorry if this is not the proper forum for this type of post. I didn't see any specifically for plugins, so this seemed like the most logical place.
