    Hi,

    I have  a site that I have done using the Executive theme - http://www.swuk.net/. The logo isn't linking back to the home page, unless you click on a very narrow strip at the start.

    I tried to expand the % but then it moves things, someone on here did it but it wasn't shown clearly how it was achieved.

    Could someone tell me how to do this?

    Many thanks,

    Gordon

    Your problem is the width of the header widget area, which is set to 75% by default. Make the changes below to your themes style.css (note: more changes may be required on the responsive side of things)

    Line 221:
    `width: 50%;`

    Line 230:
    `width: 325px;`

    Zach,

    Thanks for your help, but in the editor it doesn't show line numbers. I've found the widget set at 75% but 9 lines later there is nothing referencing width. Sorry, but could you assist?

    Many thanks,

    Gordon

    It's under the `#header-image title a` selector. Right now it's set to `width: 25%;` you should change that to the fixed width. Again, to make sure that the image responds properly, you may need to set new styles on the media queries as well. Just as a note, I used Chrome Developer Tools to find this out, there is also Firebug for Firefox - they are integral to finding this out.

    Have a great day!

    Hello Zach and All-

    I am having the same issue as did gwhite but as far as I can tell, the above solution is not going to work for my situation. I believe all values for the header widget area are fixed widths.

    Any assistance will be appreciated!

    I am working in the Scribble Child theme on a site located at http://www.happyrealwomen.com.

    For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to link the logo to the home page. I used the Appearance/Header uploader in the WordPress back end, but I do not see an option to tick "link the logo image to home page". I am sure there has to be a way to alter the code in the css but I have yet to find it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Zach,

    Thanks for your help, the logo seems to be working fine on the website now - http://www.swuk.net/ including the mobile devices.

    Many thanks,

    Gordon

    Hi michaelwolsey,

    You have used a header image and the title is hidden in CSS.This is how your website looks when Title is visible.Your designer has done a poor job.

    You need to change the class
    .header-image #title-area,
    .header-image #title,
    .header-image #title a {

    }

    and the add your log as a background to .header-image #title-area
