I want to put a page on my WP site with a list of useful external websites I want to link to. These are not affiliate sites.
I want the website title, URL, description and maybe even a thumbnail. I've tried searching the plugin library for a way to create this easily but not sure I'm using the correct terminology.

Anyone know a plugin to help with this?

A good way would be to define a Custom Post Type, With Custom Fields and Taxonomies and make your template files. But that may be a lot of info and work for someone fresh to this to absorb and learn.

However, if you want to just maintain a simple list with say, 3 columns, an HTML5 table will work fine, FooTable makes working with them pretty nice. There's TablePress as well but I tend to just stick with FooTable and my own HTML when I absolutely need them.

(Sorry hard core devs, don't beat me up, but for something this simple a table would work).

Finally, you can mimic HTML tables with Genesis Column Classes; however, responsiveness may prove difficult to control the layout you wish.

I'm sure there's other plugins that do what you want, but if it were me I'd just whip up CPTs or HTML Table to get it done quick. CPTs if you plan to add and update over time, HTML Table if is basically static.
