Hi all, I wonder if any of you can help me with something.

I am trying to add a link for a popup window in my privacy policy page so that my visitors can change their privacy settings (cookies etc).

This javascript window is made by my AD Management and is integrated automatically if I decide to serve personalised Ads to European visitors. I don't like where the "Update Privacy Settings" is placed by default because it is located at the very bottom of the website (bottom of the footer). Since I mention the possibility to update settings in my privacy policy, I would like to add a link in the page as well.

The support team of my AD management told me that any link with the href="javascript:window.__cmp('showConsentTool')"
    should work!

Howevever if I try to add a link to the policy page with the code below, wordpress simply doesn't save it or get rid of it when switching between Text and Visual tab.

    <a href="javascript:window.__cmp('showConsentTool')">Change Privacy Settings</a>

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You should probably post this in the WordPress forums here - https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ as it's really specific to WordPress. You may get a faster reply.

    Thanks Anita.

I found out that if I save the page just after inserting the code in Text mode (without switching back to the Visual tab first), the link is saved correctly. Not the best solution but at least I know how to make it work.
