    Hey Guys,

thank you for reading this post. I have problems with the translation for the following Child Theme: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/lifestyle/

I find the German Translation for the Genesis Framework: http://deckerweb.de/sprachdateien/genesis-framework/

But I can't find any German files for the Child Theme Lifestyle Pro.

So i thought i can translate it by myself. I checked out this tutorial (http://www.studiopress.com/tips/translating-studiopress-theme.htm), but i can't find enough Resources in the .pot File: http://www.pic-upload.de/view-28252914/failure.png.html

What can i do, to translate this Child Theme? The Backend is English, but the frontend i wanna have in german. Thank you so much for your support!

If your site is in german only the easiest way to translate Genesis is to install the by Remkus de Vries. It adopts your WP language settings and pulls in the latest Genesis translation.

Now, I don't know of any german translation of the Lifestyle Pro theme, but you do not necessarily need one, because there are no text strings in the Lifestyle Pro .pot file that will show up on the frontend of the website.

Example: On your blog, at the bottom of a post, there is the string "Filed Under".
It originates from the post.php file in the Genesis Framework.
Most likely your German translation of Genesis needs an update. See first paragraph above.

    Hey,

thank you for your help. It works fine. It is possible to use two different translations: the Plugin or the files from http://deckerweb.de/sprachdateien/genesis-framework/

The last one, don't need any plugins. better for the performance...
