I'm using the Lifesytle Pro theme. I would like to have a wider header image than the 320 x 210...this looks ridiculous on anything but a small device.

When I use a wider header image and view it on a smaller device (Samsung Galaxy S4), the header image shows up with a ton of padding, especially on the top and bottom of the image. That looks bad also.

I've seen other people post questions here, and they use a wider banner which looks nice on a laptop...and doesn't look bad on a small device. Yes, the image is smaller, but there is no large padding (or whatever)...so it looks o.k. They apparently have found the trick.

I've messed with the advice on changing the Function file and the CSS file to accomodate the larger image. This allows for the bigger image, but the padding comes up.

    I've tried this guy's advice...it did nothing.

Customize Lifestyle Pro Theme Header Image Area

If there is anyone out there who has the Lifestyle Pro theme and has successfully removed this padding when using wider header images, can you let me know how you did this?

The colors you see in the theme below are not final....they just help me see things better...so they'll be changed later.

    Thanks!

    Jackie,

Yes...I believe I did. I got some suggestions here initially...but none of them worked. I stumbled across this link below...and it seems to work great, as far as I can tell. Funny this wasn't mentioned by Brad, the author I believe who posts here and answered a few of my questions before. I thought maybe he didn't mention it because it had some issue, but I don't see any yet. Maybe he just forgot about this:

Customize Mobile Responsiveness of Lifestyle Pro Theme Header

I'm now trying to figure out how to change the font-size and style of the Secondary Nav menu. Nothing I do changes it...I'm sure it's a media query thing...you might see a question from me here on this forum if I can't get anywhere soon.

    Thanks!
