    Howdy,

On my client's site I have re-sized the banner to full width 1140 x 422. I changed the CSS and the functions to match the size and double checked the image file and they are all set to the correct size but it is still cutting off on the right.

When I look at the header upload page it is showing the correct size and nothing is cut off.

    Anything else I should check?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Your outer container is 1140px, but when you take the side padding (36px each side), the header width is 1068px...so your background image is cut off because it's larger than that.

You can resize your background image to 1068px wide (my recommendation) or you can use "background-size: contain;", but it doesn't work on ie8 and below if that's a concern.

You'll probably also want to adjust the min-height since your image change.

    Hope that helps!

You're welcome, glad I could help.

I was wondering the same thing before I started doing responsive web design hehe. Have a great weekend!
