    Good morning.....is there a (default) expiry date with leaving a reply on a post? The reason I ask is that I am developing a website and one of my early posts has a published date of 20th October but yesterday (17th November) the leave a reply/comments section at the bottom of the post was not available. Have updated the published date to 27th October and leave a reply/comments section at the bottom of the post is available again. So this looks something like a 28-day window

    Any thoughts and advice, in particular how to possibly extend this window would be much appreciated

    Check your discussion settings and you should find this :

    Automatically close comments on articles older than

    Tutorials for StudioPress Themes.

    Many thanks......have found the discussions setting is set to 28 days (you can tell I am new to wordpress!!)

    I will now mark this ticket as resolved
