    Hi, is there any way to NOT have the feature image show as the hero image on the single post page? I'd just like to keep the one hero I've set. Can this be done?

    Did you try not setting a featured image for your post?

    Yes, but that results in there being no feature for the blog section on the home page. Was hoping to just remove the single post feature without having to lose the feature on the home page.

    Well, not necessarily. If your post contains at least one image (with no featured image), that first image will be displayed in place of the featured image on the blog roll.

    The alternative is to edit a php file to change the conditional getting the image.
