I'm new to child themes. I'm working on a site that was built by someone else. Meta slider is installed and set up on the homepage. The first slide shows up but it doesn't move to the next slide. I'm getting a console error that says

    $(...).responsiveSlides is not a function
        at metaslider_62 ((index):162)
        at timer_metaslider_62 ((index):174)

I'd like to fix this slider instead of trying to implement a new one. The site is https://www.thefreshworks.com/ any help would be great thanks!

It looks like they use Flexslider as the JS and the function should be .flexslider() instead of responsiveSlides

Ok great, where can I change that function I cant seem to find where that function is being called. The only place I found it is in the plugin files.

I renamed the responsive slides files and I'm still getting the same error.

It may be in the template for the front page or home

I actually figured it out it was being called in the JS for the plugin. I commented it out and it seems to have fixed the issue.
