    I've installed Simple Edits to modify the footer on a website. I've checked the box to modify the entire footer, but it just isn't rendering; the current footer stays in place.

    I'm running wp 4.9.4, Genesis 2.6.1 and Simple edits 2.2.1. The child theme is the re-styled Genesis Sample.

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Never had an issue with this plugin before.
