    Hi,

    A bar, a heading of sorts is showing up above my post titles and I don't know how to get rid of it. I couldn't find a toggle anywhere ... here's what the code looks like:

    <article class="post-64 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail category-endocrinology-nyc entry" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="http://schema.org/BlogPosting" itemprop="blogPost"><header class="entry-header"><p class="entry-meta">http://www.philipfeligmd.com/site-map/</p><h1 class="entry-title" itemprop="headline">Award Winning Endocrinologist</h1>

    What's even weirder is the Site Map URL is being dropped in there ... it started showing up when I updated WordPress to 4.22.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Can you try opening your functions.php file and look for this line of code around line 152:

    add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_post_info', 5 );

    If you find that, delete it and let me know what happens.

    That did it. Thx man!

    I wonder when I update WordPress or the theme will it come back?

    If you update the child theme itself, which you shouldn't ever need to do, it would come back. Genesis alone will update without affecting the child theme when the next update happens. Updating WordPress should not matter either and it's still mysterious why a WordPress update caused that.

    Yes, and even more weird was it was taking the new Site Map URL and putting it in there.

    I actually did these at same time ... logged in, updated WP, then created a Site Map page and downloaded a plugin to generate the Site Map ... so maybe it had something to do with the Site Map page but no idea what it could be.
