Is there PM in the forum?

Hi All,
I had someone tell me that they attempted to send me a PM through this forum(!) As far as I knew, there wasn't any PM capability in this forum - at least I can't find anyplace to do it.

Could you clarify, please?

Yes, that's the only thing I'm aware of that works something like that. He must not have ticked the right box.

That's wild. I would say "blame it on the bossa nova", but instead I'll just chalk it up to the ever goofy Buddypress. 🙂

No PM capability (It was the first thing I wished for around here!) - that's why I think it's important for people to add their contact information to their signatures.

PM is a bad thing for community forums - it takes the discussion away from everyone else. Most moderators disabled it on the old forums, as many abused it, thinking they'd get a quicker answer.
