    Hi, I'm developing a website with a customized version of daily dish pro.
    I've added the possibility to add featured images to each category, in order to add a widget with featured categories that works just like the featured post widget (category featured image + category title). I am currently using a plugin that does this but it's kinda tricky because you have to add the category id (hopefully it's going to be updated by my client and I don't know if he'll be able to figure it out). I was wondering if there's an easier way to do this.

    I would search the WordPress plugin directory for a plugin that includes the functionality you need.
