One of my blogs has a custom theme, and the developer who made it is no longer available. I tried running the theme in a test environment with Genesis 2.0 and it seemed okay, but I'm worried if I upgrade our production site then find a problem that wasn't immediately obvious - will I be able to revert to an earlier version of Genesis until I get the problem fixed?

I would assume I can just restore the old Genesis 1.9 files, but I always get bit by assuming so figured I'd ask to make sure there isn't a database change or something Genesis 2.0 does that makes downgrading impossible.

    Thanks!

The best solution is to do a full backup first. You can downgrade, but a backup is the best solution. Also, if you have a problem contact us in support at my.studiopress.com.
