    We've used Genesis with bbPress, a few glitches (particularly with the editor displayed to users) but got them worked out satisfactorily. This forum is on bbPress so you've got an example site right here. You'll want to get a couple additional plugins like this one from Jared Atchinson:

    bbPress Genesis Extend

    Andrea at Nuts & Bolts has this small tutorial to remove the author box in bbpress:
