Inspyr Theme – 2 Questions

Would appreciate some help here on 2 things on my website:

1) My homepage featured post has 2 images, how do I remove the duplicate?

2) How do I shift the primary sidebar (in brown) to the right and increase the width size?

So, I've commented out a line as below.

It helps to remove the duplicated in the featured post, but the size of my image in the latter posts (below) have become smaller (thumbnail) instead. That's an unwanted side effect. Any help please?
