Hi,

I am using the modern portfolio site and have done a lot of work on my normal pages

e.g http://www.rogerlapin.co.uk/magician-hampshire (need to change the font for "one of the finest magicians in hampshire"

But the home page is lacking http://www.rogerlapin.co.uk

I need some ideas on what to do - ideally need to split the top into a slider and some text not sure how>?

Are you using the Genesis Responsive Slider? You could setup the caption to display in the right or left third with a solid background. If you want 2 different widget positions then that would be a custom addition. Can you clarify a bit what you are looking for?
