Insert image logo in Genesis Sample

I've tried some methods posted online about how to add few lines to show the image logo in this default child theme but it didn't work. So i think that there might be some changes from updates or the method is outdated already?

Anyone can tell me how to replace my plain text logo to custom image logo?

Hi there

do you want to hard code your logo or do you want to be able to upload it like you would do with a premium theme?

Which one you recommend? I would prefer to upload it so i can change it easier in the future

you just need to add this to your function.php file

//* Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
	'width'           => 360,
	'height'          => 60,
	'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
	'header-text'     => false
) );

I really appreciate your help! Now I've added the lines you gave me to my function.php and it did show the new function that allow me to upload image logo,

However it seems allow only for the logo with the size of 360x60 px but my original logo (and most of the logos) is higher than that. It looks like the size for typoface logo only.

This is my current logo with the size of 335x163 px, any suggestion on this?

in the code I pasted above, you can see the image dimensions

	'width'           => 360,
	'height'          => 60,

you change this to whatever you want, then just refresh your WordPress admin and the new sizes will be applied.
