    My site is not live yet, so I can't give a direct URL, but the part I'm asking about is the exact same as the Demo.

    How can I make the offscreen content button show text of something like "Sign Up" instead of the 3 dots icon as shown in the upper right corner of the screen here in the demo (behind the "Close Demo" button):

    https://my.studiopress.com/themes/infinity/ -> click Live Demo

    It is a button that uses the class of .offscreen-content-toggle. Is it possible to either change that to say "Sign Up" or maybe create a menu item that opens the offscreen content?

    Thanks!

    Yes you can modify the infinity_offscreen_content_output function and replace the icon HTML with text.

    Alright, sounds good. And then if I ever updated the theme in the future, I'd just have to make that change again? Or is there any way to future-proof a customization like this?

    Child themes don't need to be updated, only Genesis.
