Increasing content width in container

Help! I'm stuck. I need to increase the width to hold an iframe embedded website. Any theory or solutions to my problem? The URL i provide will show the problem - the width won't show the entire site. You can see i have more room to the left and right of the site , but i'm not sure what i need to edit to make the site show in full. I'm whisper close... thanks in advance

I'm using the child theme of 411Pro

Perhaps add a width to .site-inner around line 443. Try...

.site-inner {
clear: both;
margin-top: 100px;
margin-top: 12rem;
width: 1200px;
}

Thanks Jeremy - From your code i learned! If my container is 1200px wide, is there a way to tell it to increase the actual content width to use more of the white space? This theme is dependent on the left part not covering my background. Thinking i can use 900px IF i'm able to use more of the content area. Any theory you can impart? Thanks again.

To be honest I don't think this is the best theme for what you are trying to achieve, due to a large iframe in such a small width.

But anyway getting back to your question, to use up more of the white space you need to reduce the padding on the main article.

On line 1099 play around with the padding.

.entry {
padding: 8% 3%;

I have left 8% as the top and bottom padding and added a 3% for each side.

I realize that now because this was the last page i created. I would like to try to keep it because of the work with all my backgrounds, but know i may have to change themes. Ok, now i'm going to show you how dense i am. How can i take the stylesheet code and number the lines so i can find line 1099.

Open up style.css in a text editor.
If your on a PC notepad is pre-installed. However notepad++ is a free download and is better.
