I've run into an issue when using the Genesis Featured Widgets Amplified plugin, with Business Directory Plugin.

The plugin allows you to display a list of Posts, but when I attempt to drill down to a Category, within my Business Directory and specify (for example) "2" as the "Number of Posts to Show", it just displays every post in that Category. I can specify "O" and show none, but if I enter any other number, I get the entire list of posts.

I've been working locally, but can post an example, if needed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I would suggest trying the Genesis Sandbox Featured Content plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-content-widget/

Featured Widget Amplified hasn't been updated for HTML5 themes so it can be wonky at times. (Sandbox actually hasn't been updated in a bit either, but it's working fine on several of my sites.) HTH!
