    Is there like a recommend size I should make my images before I uploaded them.
    As I've uploaded some images to my site, they all look the same in my posts, but they come up different sizes in my slider

    I would suggest you crop them to the right size before uploading.

    Thanks, not very good with images, is there a standard size that an image should be.

    It depends on your theme however i like to go for 600 x 300 because that fits in a slider, takes up nearly the full content area width and resizes to 300 x 150 perfectly which i use for thumbnails and featured images on archive pages.
