Switching from Thesis to Genesis framework...getting used to differences so bear with me. I am using WordPress 4.1.1 and streamline pro. There is no option under media for a carousel anymore. I disabled all plugins...did not help. When I create a gallery, it inserts thumbnails on the page properly, but clicking on a thumbnail only results in linking to that image. Is this a Genesis or Streamline Pro issue? What is the workaround? Is there a response slideshow/gallery plugin blessed by StudioPress for use with Streamline Pro?

    Thanks.

As far as I know Genesis themes do not come with carousels. You will have to add in a Lightbox or Fancybox plugin to get your gallery to show the way you would like it.

Wordpress site shows how to configure gallery carousels without mention of any plugins. From what I have determined, those gallery and carousel instructions only apply to sites hosted on wordpress (even though it is not specific or mentioned in the wordpress authored instructions I found). I have used Soliloquy in the past and am very happy with it. But doing anything native in wordpress is preferable over adding plugins and it seemed as though it was now possible. Thanks for confirming it is not.
