Hi, thanks in advance for any assistance.

I'm using the Magazine Pro theme, but I'm not sure that matters for this issue.

I created a new page using the blog page template with a right sidebar. Then, I used Custom Fields and query args to pull in just the one category I want on the page.

NOW, I'd like to add an image that appears at the TOP of the page, left column, before the list of blog posts. I've tried adding an image block. I've tried a container with an image block in it, etc. I can't seem to get the image to appear at the top of the page, above the posts.

My understanding is that the blog.php template went away... so is there a way that I can do this easily?

    Thanks!
    Julie

    Hi Julie,
Hope so you're doing well, ensure you're editing the specific page in question. Use the "Genesis Blocks" plugin or WordPress block editor to add a Cover block at the top of the page. Inside the Cover block, you can add an Image block or any other desired content. Adjust the layout settings as needed. This method provides flexibility in managing content placement, and it's compatible with modern WordPress themes. If issues persist, review the theme's documentation or consider reaching out to the theme's support for tailored guidance.
Hope so this will work for you!
    Regards,
    Bryce June

No, I didn't get this resolved yet. Didn't realize anyone had replied. Stopped watching.

Thanks, brycejune. I'll give your suggestion a try!

    Happy New Year,
    Julie
