Hi,

Has anyone encountered the above error and found a fix for it? My webhost (Dreamhost) and the WordPress forums have proved to be unhelpful.

Hey Annabel,

Take a look at the image file size that you are trying to upload. Is it happening on all images? If yes, what are the file sizes of these images? If you try to upload a small image, does it occur?

You'll find a lot of threads on this particular problem in the WordPress support forum. Doing a quick Google search gives you a long list of them.

Sometimes it can be your Internet connection blocking uploads. Are you on a public Internet connection?
